Rick Maturo imbues strategy, story, and creativity into his purpose. He is a consumer insights and market research professional with a penchant for innovation and an incessant imagination. He is the Founder and Chief Product Officer of Cannabiz Consumer Group™ (C2G) – a cannabis market research firm that assesses and quantifies the impact legalized cannabis has on traditional spending patterns throughout a wide array of economic sectors. Prior to founding C2G, Rick cut his teeth generating insights for global brands at the media agency, Starcom, and in CPG-food and foodservice research at Datassential. He holds a Master of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois-Urbana- Champaign, where he was the sole recipient of the Paul Schrage Ronald McDonald Fellowship in Advertising; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Aside from cannabis, he enjoys beer, music, cooking, and storytelling.
